2MORROW IS CHRISTMAS!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! I am sooooo super duper excited!!!! I soooo can't wait until I open the package from my bff kelly!!!!! She is awesome enough to send a package for me for christmas. :) what an awesome friend!!! :)

Anyway...as you know...we have been going to buil-a-bear workshop every christmas eve since we have lived in russia....so today we went!!! :) it was sooooo much fun!!! Last year I got a bunny named Fluffy...and THIS YEAR!!!~I got an elephant!!!!! she is sooooooooo cute!!!! Her name is Hortina!!!!! I love her!!! there are some pics above....

And the next time I make a blog, I will most DEFINETLY put some pictures up from christmas morning.

Thanksgiving Fireworks!

Tonight, while eating dinner, we hear huge ''bomb-like'' sounds...we ran to the window...there were HUGE fireworks!!! for about 50 seconds there were beautiful fireworks, right outside out window...and then it stopped...and then we heard a bunc of cheering. I don't know what it was for...but I can almost garentee you that Russians were not celebrating Thanksgiving, at 10:30 p.m. haha

OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!!!! GUESS WHAT????? We just got like 5 packages in like 1 week! It felt sooo awesome to have some treats from America that usually only come months at a time!!!!! :) And I am soooo happy! I also got to talk to talk to my friend on skype! It was a lot of fun cause my friend leigha had a camera so I got to see her! It was awesome!!!!! We are also having rice-a-roni tonight with our chicken for dinner!!! It smells absolutely heavenly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i DONT HAVE ANY PIC'S OF THE PACKAGE WE GOT THE OTHER DAY! CAN U BELIEVE IT? :) I will try and get some pictures later

This is me, and my bff in russia at the ceremony for sb's soccer.

On thursday, during english club, I got to call my bff in the whole entire world, kelly. (on the phone...) and then I figured out her skype name, and then we got call each other's voices MUCH clearer on skype. It was like she was right in fornt of me... except for the accasional glitches :)She could hear me, and I could hear her, but I couldn't see her, but she could see me. And then Aaron as usual is a dork, and starting talking like some chinease take out guy :) I was SOOOOO happy to be able to hear her much clearer and stuff.... it was so much fun talking to her.

In other news... WE GOT A PACKAGE!!!! YEH! I couldn't believe it! We got it from Aunt kay, and her church group thingy... :)
We got stuff like: ressies, (owever you spell that) 3 musketters, gummey thingys, swiss miss,coffee mix stuff, fruit roll ups, and some other stuff I don't remember :) It's just so much stuff! :)

In another other news... Sarah Beth had a thingy awards ceremoney thingy for soccer. She got the ward for the southern bell. :)

In ANOTHER other news.... Hannah montana is now in RUSSIAN!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! That is like the only thing disney on russian tv! That is the last thing you should expect to be aired on Russian tv! The first episode they aired was on thursday. and it was actually one of the new ones, instead of the first one or something. :)

it's been a while since i have written a blog...so I decided I would write since I am VERY bored.
first of all..... It's been pretty boring lately.
Notchka is still her wild old self. (actually i havent seen her run across the hall and run into the wall for almost 3 hours! wow! that is probably her biggest record) :)
2. School is good. Chrissie and I are still bff's (besides kelly...and ashleighy of course)
3. I have been so bored the past hour that I have been playing catch.....let me re-phrase this: I have been playing catch...with my self.
as you can see I have been PRETTY bored. :)
4. I am homesick. I miss my church..my school... my friends... my cat... my mimi and poppy... my nana and pop-pop... my house... my everything.
5.... ok i dont really have a 5. that's pretty much all that has been going on lately since the last time i have written a blog. i know it's sad isnt it?

i was bored today so i figured why not make a blog.

here is what has been happening lately:

yesterday was cofee house. cofee house was so much fun. cofee house is where the middle schoolers and the high schoolers stay after school, and go to the cafitieria and they have fun eating treats and having cofee, and smoothies. mrs. clark & mr. clark are the ones who set it up, and they have games uot, and open mic. it is very fun.

another thing that i have been having fun doing is school, all of my friends are there, and we have so much fun at school. and i love all of my teachers.

we are going to be gone in prauge soon, and i absolutely cant wait! i get to see my best friend, mckenna, and i also get to see uncle jo, and the rest of there family.

today we had joy and hannah over will aunt astrid went to go somewhere with mommy, and when joy was wanting notchka, she said to john john ''john john! go get roachka!!!!''
it was hillarious! I will never forget that!

what elase has been going on? nothing really, school (except to day is saturday) and yesterday we went to a tea for aunt mary cause she is leaving, i don't think much else has happened really. so.... it's been a pretty boring weekend so far.

finally! all of that trutv has payed off!!!

first off all, trutv is one of my favorite channels. it is the mytery channel, on the sling box, with tru stories of detective work (I guess u could cll it that) like forensic files, and the investigaters.

second of all, the reason why watching all of those chrime shows (wich you should not try watching alone by yourself in a room)-(even if you are a grown up, it creepy) has payed off, is they most of the time have court sometime during the show, if it is somekind of murder. I was trying to think of the word for the person that goes in the court room to defend himself (defendent) :)

for my hannarctica project, and I finally could think f the word, and I said '' finally all of those creepy trutv shows have payed off!''

well thats my story. (not very exciting is it?)

piano lessons

If you didn't already know, I am takoing piano lessons, at the american school I go to.
there was a space open for me, and so I said, I would do it. I have commited to this, and I am not going to give up, like last time.
MRS. Clark is my teacher for piano, choir, and science, so I think since I like her so much, it will help me to no tgive up.
I have seen a korean girl named hannah (she is in my class) play the piano, and that is what mostly inspires me. she plays like she is a proffesianal. I am not kidding. That is the biggest thing that is helping me not to give up..... again.
I have it every tuesday, and until november, I will be practicing for 3:30.
mom says it will help me to read notes, in choir.... I am not so good at it. :)

I just lost a tooth, and is was one of the big ones in the back. I lost it yesterday... it wasn't even until I ate a gobsotopper last night, before brushing my teeth, thats what made it loose. yep, the whole tooth. I got 50 whole rubles just for one tooth!!!!!!!!!!! (50 rubles is two dollars)-(to be excact)

we just got a package today, from the 5th and 6th graders, at vbs this year, and I got all kinda great tings! hear bobs, hula necklaces, a new lil' kinz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! berrets!

well, here are a few pictures, on top.

I put a couple of my berrets, in m y hair, as well as kelly's. (that is what I named her, that's the name of my best friends, EVER and she is the one who gave it to me.)

did I mention the whole family got tiger tales noodles. they are shaped like romen noodles!!!!! they are so cute!!!!! ad they look even better!!!! :)

we also got some marshmellow's and an american girl magazine. I love it! i already looked through it twice!!!!! :)

it was so fun talking to the 5th and 6th graders, yesterday, at vbs. they all asked me some really complicated questions. (well for me at least) and some asked really simple quetsions.

when kelly (my best friend in the whole entire world) asked me a question first she said hi... I said hi back. then everybody started laughing. I guess that they all new that me and kelly have been me and kelly for like ever!!!! :)

here are some q and a's from yesterday. well the ones that I can remember.

1) IS IT HARD TO GET AROUND?

YES!!!!! it very hard, beacuse since we live a long way away from the metro (subway) then sometimes we have to catch a bus to school, but there is always traffic.

2) what is your favorite candy in moscow?

ice cream!!!! I love the icecream here, for some reason it just tastes much sweeter, and it dosen't melt as fast.

3)what do you do in school?

I ususally first do all of my school except for math, then eat, then after lunch I do math, and at my real school, I do p.e. recess and lunch.

4)is it fun to live in a foren country?

yes, sometimes it is hard, but most of the time it is fun, beacuse you get to see places you never amagined you would see in your whole entire life! and sometimes it is fun to get a package as a nice suprise every once and a while.

5) is it hard to learn russian?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is VERY VERY VERY HARD!!! especially when someone wlks up to you an the streets ans asks you for directions, and most of the time I have no idea what they are saying. I don't study russian yet, so it is much easier when you are studying.

that is all I remeber for now, maybe later on some questions they asked me will just pop in my head!

I guess you are wondering why I named my blog afetr that? onme-squirrels are always looking excited about something, they are always skittish.

two- I AM lime an excited squirrel, becuase I am always skittish, and I am excited, wich makes me like an excited squirrel.

I am like an excited squirrel because the burches are coming to moscow!!! ( missionary moving o moscow from st. petersburg) and they have a daughter my age named amielle and I have gotten LOADS of e-mails from her, and she seems REALLY nice. I am also excited beacuse the wickers are coming too! (I do not know where they are fomr, I just know they are on state side,mright now) they have a daughter one year older than me, named tessa. I have not gotten an e-mail from her, at all, so I kow nothiong outside her age nad where she is going, at the moment.

friday night, we are having the burches over for dinner. and she tells me that she also cant wait until then!!!

more exciting things; tonioght is phase ten night, so that means we go to the tarltons for dinner, and play phase ten!!! uncle ed and unt teri are like a second pair of parents!!!! usually when we play phase ten I can just be with mommy or daddy (most of the time mommy) and watch, or play with them, as one person.

I can't wait until tonight!!! and to top that alloff, I can't wait until friday!!! and to top THATR off, I van't wait till june 20th!!! (camp rock on disney channel premiere)

I have got to go, and get dressed, for tonight. I am still in my jamies and it is 4:55 pm!!!!!! already!! I have no idea when we are leaving thouygh.... sorry I am getting ahaead of my self!!!

I know this is a little late, but anyway.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!!

daddy turned 40 on monday, and he said it was a really good birthday!! I am so happy that he had a good birthday!!!! he is a very special daddy, to me.... he is the best daddy ing the world, to be honest, he is the greatest daddy ever!!! I know a lot of other kids say there momn and dad are the best daddy's or mommy's in the whole world, but my daddy truely is the best daddy in the world!!!!! he also got a really cool mbirthday because one, who else get's to have ther ebirthday have way across the world?? two, he got this super cool quilt, made with all of his shirts, that he could not bring, at least I think it was with all the shirts he couldn't bring. well, I have to go, we are having company soon.

yesterday was lainies birthday! she turned 6 years old!!!! I did not find out until I went to go see if the lewis' had written a new blog. I figured it would not be likely if they had written a new one, lately, but I always like to check, just in case. it had said she asked if they could have a piniata, and the teacher said yes.... of course. :) anyway, she did not even know what it was!!! but the good thing is that they all had a good time, especially lainie! so anyway, I do not have that much time, so I am going to go. I just wish lainie the bestfirst-over-sea's- birthday!!!!!

today is mothers day, and it is the first time mommy has had an over-sea mothers day. (obviously) and I am going to right a blog just special for mommy.

mommy, is the best mommy in the world! and she is an awesome person! I mean come on, people who would not love a person who one, is a mother, and does a great job at it. two, she is like a SUPER TECHER. three, she gave up practically her whole life to come to some ugly city where you have no car, whenever you go down the elivater (if it is working) it smells aweful. and it is 99 percent poluted. everything is great abut mommy. oh, did I mention that she can sing like angel??

new volenteer group

yesterday was team meeting, because there was no school, yesterday. I was all alone, at team meeting, beacause abby was at chrissies house. so the only thing I could do to entertain myself was listen to the scheduale of when the volenteer team is coming. (and eat) as I listended I noticed that it is going to be a very .... very .... VERY busy scheduale. mommy has to go to ashan, to get food, one for us, and two for the three girls thta are coming to our house to stay, until it is time for them to go back to the states. we have to clean the house. A LOT! we have to still do school. except on thursday. we have to go to stone soup, on next saturday. we also hjave to do a lot of other stuff that I can not remember. I do know that we are having three girls staying at our house.

It is going to be soooo busy this week. maybe I will have tyo do school on monday, tueseday, and wednesday, and then for the rest of the week, no school? :) cause the jam-packed scheduale.

well, I am going to go, so I can go do something more exciting then writing a blog. plus, I really don't know much about what is happening to the point.

notchka, notchka, notchka.

notchka has been such a sweet kitty, for the past weeks, and here is my sweet story about last night:

it was probably 10:00 when I got in bed last ngiht. and we were watching emprers new groove on the way to bed, in our room. about an hour and a half into the movie I heard the ladder to my bed clang just a tad. I kept wondering to myself, ''what in the world is john doing???'' and then 2 seconds later, I found myself smiling looking at notchka who was ready to jump into my bed. if you have seen pictures, or lke auntkay has been here, you know that my bed ladder, is really hard to climb up if you are a cat.ayway, I saw notchka jump up, onto my bed!!!! ALL BY HERSELF!!!!! :) she has gotten to be the sweet cat we were hoping she would adjust to be. and well.... she did!!! I am so excited!!!! and then it was probably 3:oo in the morning last night, when I woke up to her chasing my feet, in my bed. whenever I would move my feet under the covers, she would chase it wondering what it was!! :) she is a really sweet cat, AND, I love her soooo much!!!! she also like john-john's bed, too, and sometimes, when she gets up to my bed, she amediatley jumps up to the top of the schoff, and jump from the schoff, to sissy's bed, she likes sissy's bed too! :) well, I have to go, before my ''time'' is up on the computer, for me to switch with john.

it doesen't feel like we have really been here for 7 months already. To me it feels like I have lived here my whole life. but actually i HAVEN'T even been here for even at least half of my life! this summer is going to be really, fun. but I just can't actually believe that the summer is going to be really fun. I already know it is, I just don't know how. I mean I am away from all of my garndma's, garndpa's aunts, uncles, my friends, my REAL home cats, practically everything I loved about my life. I love a lot of people in russia, and obviously you can tell everytime I walk into mr. hayes classroom that everybody loves me too. but heres the catch (there is always a catch to a missionarys life, it can never be easy :) EVERYBODDY! and when I say everybody I mean EEEEVVVVVEEEEERRRRRYYYBBBBOOOOODDDDYYYY!!! IS LEAVING MOSCOW, TO GO LIVE IN SOME LUSGURY PLACE IN THE STATES. ok, well maybe it is not lugsury but if I were ever able to go back to the states soon, that would be a lugsury place. anyway, I just need you to pray for me. just a teansy weansy little tiny prayer that I would like russia and have better summer then what I am having since we came here. (and when I mean all of you I just mean mimi, poppym aunt kay, and maybe aunt cathy. that is pretty much the only peole that read this.) I am hungry, so I am going to go get a snack, so i better get off before I starve.

( did i sound all grown up-ish? hope not) nothing is really new... anymore! notchka is doing great! she is such a great cat! she is always playing... and doing something that will make you laugh. especially when you are finishing your schoolwork... and all of the sudden you hear '' terd!'' or ''terd bucket!'' my personal favorite ''terd'' phrase is ''terd bomb'' :) (by the way, I am not telling who says terd whatever, I might get a face removal.) I have enjoyed so many things that come in our packages!! (so far!) I have enjoyed my little-est pet shop things, (from aunt kay) my new barbie clothes, barbie coloring book from like 1972! and my new baby jamies! (from mimi and poppy) and we have a volenteer group coming in... I do not know when, but sometime soon. :) I have enjoyed hinkson A LOT! it is so mch fun to go to hinkson, and see all of my friends! (especially chrissie and kailyn, and of course abby!) and my teacher, mr. hayes is really great! (I do not know if i did that right... mr. hayes is not married, does that mean that I need to change the mr. to something else?) I met my 6th grade teacher I will be having next year, at hinkson, at the jr. carnival, a couple of days ago. I really didn't meet him, mommy really met... i just kind of just watched as mom talked for like 20 seconds. anyway, that is pretty much it. I have not been up to much reading lately. I already read all of my books, that I like, pretty much the only series, of books that will REALLY get me to start reading is madison finn. anyway, I have to go take the trash out, then take a shower so I better get going.

I have not blogged, in maybe almost a week. ( i am sorry- aunt kay, mimi, and poppy!!!) I really haven't been up to much, lately. except for reading! I have been reading a LLLLLOOOOOOOTTT!

ANYWAY, on this past monday, I finished my (fourth of july) madison finn book. it only took me two days to read!! I love that series!!! and the next day, I started, a new madiosn finn book (nikki concert) and I finished that, all in ONE day!!!! the NEXT day, I started a new madiosn finn book. (christmas, i only had that one left to read... that was in english!) anyway, i started that one, on wednesday, and I finished THAT all in one day, too!!!!!! oh! I almost forgot! beforew I started the christmas madiosn finn book, on wednesday, I finished my american girl meet julie book, too. and today, I have been in a rush, cleaning for english, club, while mom and dad sleeped, so I only got to read two chapters of my julie tells her story'' book, today. (the second julie series book) what else have I been up to??? well.... oh! here is a sweet one! yesterday, while I was finishing my meet julie book, notchka was snuggled up in my lap, in my bed, with me reading! it was adorable!!!!! I have found out, that notchka like my bed, but just does not know how to get up by herself. ( I have a bunk bed) and this morning,I helped her up into my bed, while mom and dad did not know that me, sarah beth, and john, were already up, before them, I sneeked her up..... and she snuggled up with me, and after those few minutes, she started sniffing the prayer wall, we have right next to my bed, and sarah beth said, to put her on top, to see if she wanted to come to sarah beth, so i did. then notchka started staring at sissys feet, and when sissy moved her foot, instantly, and fast, notchka jumped right on to her bed!!! (sarah beths bed is a loft bed, a little higher then my top bunk) anyway, tonight, english club people are coming, so I better get ready.

It WAS my birthday, but, not anymore..... Thursday, was my birthday, and friday was my birthday party!!!!! (it was a slumber party) I love every single one of my presents!!!!!! my friends was sooooo thoughtful (her name is kailynn) and got me a necklace, witha star fish, on it with diomands on the starfish. She said that she knew that i was from florida, and that I love florida, so much, so the first thing she thought of for florida, was a star fish. I love it, and wear it everyday!!!!! I also thought that my friend kelly, who has been my bestest friend ever since i was like... 4! anyway, she sent a package, like a month ago, and it had my birthday present in it!! (along with like some oreos, and cheez-itz and other yummy american treats) I opened the card, and it sang... (these are the exacvt words that they sang)

'' 1 2 3, go! happy birhtday, happy birthday, lalalalalalala, it's your birthday, it's your birthday, lalalalalalala!!!....... that was good.''

it was sooooooooooo funny!!!!! anyway, the present, was a hannah montana shirt!!!! (i love hannah montana) some gel-ish pens, and a compission book! i really loved all of it, and one more thing a webkinz book mark, wich on webkinz world will give me a secret code, to get a grand prize!!! (i got a books on webkinz of my choice) I am so happy with all of my gifts!!!!!!! and...... we have a got a really big suprise.........

WE GOT A CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we love her, we just got her today, and her name is ''notchka'' wich means night in russian, we named her, and she is sort of persian, 'cause she is so poofey, she likes to hide under mom's desk, and she is black, and has yellow eyes!!!! the first couple of hours, she got lost, because, dad pulled her out of the bag, and then put her, down, she ran for our room, then went into the balconi, and the windo was WIDE open. we were so scared that she had jumped out of the window!!!! (we live on the 8th floor) but then, john, was messing with the drawers, on the desk, and notchka came running, out, and ever since she got out, she is pretty used to us, already!! we thought it would take us 2-3 weeks, for her to get used to us, 'cause she is SUPER, SUPER SUPER, shy!!!! but anyway, it worked, out. I wish that i could post pictures, but i can not, since, we just got her today, and we have not been able to take any pictures of her, but on my next blog, i will post picturesm of notchka.

it HAS been a very crazy week. a couple weeks ago was john-john's birthday, and then a couple weeks after that it was sissy's birthday! and in about two, weeks, it will be my birthday! I can't wait until my birthday, and birthday and birthday party, I am having a hannah montana themed birthday party! we have had a break off of school, wich was kinda good, but that also means that we kinda already had our spring break!!we also just came back from kiev, and it was awsome, we got to meet some body very nice (who loved john-john go figure!) name Looba! she gave us ceareal, yummy cake things, tea, a pitcher, and bread, and maybe some other stuff that I do not remember. on our way home, we had one of those new trains, with buttons and stuff. we all agreed that we liked the other one better (the other train we took was one of those old ones) daddy said that the old train had ''character'' and that it had been through that.well, i have to go get a snack, I will be praying for all of you who read this!
